Journey to Wellness (JTW) Is a peer run, community based wellness center that strives to provide support to individuals who are experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues. The mission of Journey to Wellness is to create a supportive, consumer focused community that provides resources, help, and advocacy that we need to attain and maintain wellness. Peer Outreach Support Team (POST) The Peer Outreach Support Team encourages people to take the responsibility for their own wellness and recovery. We usually work with closely with an individual for approximately three-to-six-months, developing a partnership to create and support the individual’s own recovery goals. In addition to the important one-to-one support, POST workers run a variety of groups, such as twelve step recovery meetings and sessions that focus on wellness, employment, communication skills, and social activities. Groups are held in various places in the community. Recovery Peer Outreach Support (RPOST) RPOST is funded through the Ocean County Health Department for Recovery Support Services to assist those in Ocean County who face the challenges of addiction. Offering One to One Person Centered Peer Support for individuals 18 years of age and up. Tools For Success Tools for Success is a WFNJ work activity that provides training and education to participants to succeed in the workplace. Microsoft applications, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel are provided. In addition, Resumes, Cover Letters, Cultural Competency, and overall Job etiquette is provided to ensure that participants leave the program with the skills needed to not only obtain, but retain employment. *Referral from the Pri
