Welcome to the Twisted Skies Chase Team's official LinkedIn! We're always growing, and we hope to continue building a strong community where people can share weather information. The entire purpose of this team is to help make people more aware of the weather around them by providing situational awareness through ground truth. What that means: It means that Twisted Skies Chase Team members will be out in the field in order to help identify Severe Weather threats. How that works: When we find something that looks like it might impact nearby communities, we make sure that the right people know about it in order to get Watches & Warnings out as soon as possible through official means. What areas we cover: Since we're based in the Kansas City metro, that will be our primary coverage area. We might travel to other areas of Missouri and Kansas, and possibly Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Wherever we may roam, we'll be sure to keep you posted. What our team does NOT do: Twisted Skies Chase Team will NEVER issue our own Watches & Warnings. We will only share information from official sources, and will do everything in our power to let you know who is issuing those Watches & Warnings. What our team WILL do: We'll be sharing our own thoughts / forecasts / images / videos, as well as those by official & trusted sources, like the National Weather Service, Meteorologists, and other Storm Chasers.
