Cinetopia is a collaboration of freelance creatives and curators, working together to produce film events, workshops, networking possibilities and a podcast, promoting the discussion of film and enhancing the opportunities of learning about film within the Edinburgh-based film community and beyond. Our themed, volunteer-led monthly cineclub screens films of all durations and genres, accompanying them with talks by filmmakers and our curatorial team. Our podcast gives film enthusiasts a platform to review recent films and interview notable and upcoming people in the field. Our networking events and workshops, launching in early 2019, offer the community a space to connect with the art of filmmaking, and with the greater community of filmmakers and the film industry in Scotland and abroad.
