Women in Business North Kent & Medway is a friendly and inspirational network exclusively for businesswomen. Women in Business (WIB) offers support, friendship, business training and the opportunity to tap into the immediate network of contacts that exists within the South East. WIB is not a “selling” group. It is a non-profit-making organisation open to the employed and self-employed alike. Members come from a wide range of different businesses. Our events, talks, workshops and training are organised on a non-profit making basis so they are affordable to all. Our programme of events includes a variety of topics. Each begins with the opportunity for members to introduce themselves and their business and to network to meet other members, make new friends and contacts. Membership is £7.50 per month or £10 for non members. Give us a try, you can visit us once for free. How it works: 6.45:- Start with informal networking with fellow members 7:00:- Introductions 7:15:- WIB News 7:30:-Presentation from 2 x WiB Members or an external speaker 8:30:- Q&A session, advice-seeking or general topics of interest 8.45:- Problem corner – Members get to share a problem or need with the group for input and help 9:00:- Close We are always open to suggestions or perhaps you would like to be one of our guest speakers. We look forward to meeting you. We use the Wisdom Hospice Education room for free, so do give donations on the night, and many members give their time to help at the many fantastic events the Hospice team organise to raise funds.
