Ourr Mission. The U. S. Department of the Interior Veterans Employee Organization (DOI Vets) creates a Department-wide working environment supportive of Veterans and understanding of skills and qualifications Veterans bring to DOI. DOI Vets also connects Veterans to DOI and other resources to assist Veterans in becoming successful in achieving their career goals. Membership. DOI Vets is composed of former or current active duty uniformed service members and National Guard and Reserve service members, who are current or retired DOI employees, and their families.
