Core Value Develop Community builders to create value and build meaningful relationships The Problem I wanted to start this becuase I saw that the skill of community building was not something that was taught, community builders who were new to the game, were often lost with no focus on how to develop their community, and the ones who were the true talents never transferred their knowledge to successors to continue their work. So many great communities die out due to this reason. With no guidelines/plans or successors, community builders go through a very high burn out phase. Our Objectives Grow Communities by developing community builders within a peer support system. Create a place for community builders to Learn – Teach – Collaborate What we want to Achieve - Promote the importance of the adoption of community building in all industries. - Create an industry standard and guideline for the profession - Enhance the skill sets and relationships of community builders - Develop a new generation of community builders Who is it for? - Lifelong Learners For community builders who are hungry to learn and want to improve their community building skills, who won’t be defensive towards the opinions and suggestions of other, who are always open & curious. - Lifelong Teachers For community builders who are selflessly willing to share every insight they know and not feel that if they teach someone else that person will overtake them. - Lifelong Partners For community builders who want to collaborate when it is obvious that you can be #StrongerTogether, and not shy away just because of possible conflict of interest
