The Fear of Confidence
The Fear of Confidence is the first book by David Alto launched on January 24th 2021. Have you ever written an entire book in just under 6 hours, me neither not until today 10-21-2020. When you have nothing to do on a 6-hour flight home from Orlando to Seattle, along with no wi-fi and the emotions and feelings that are still so very real from that “traumatic” experience of less than 24 hours ago, I guess you do in fact write a book. I wrote all but the referencing of previous literature on fear and confidence along with adding action plans for you to use, again, no wi-fi, and Covid-19 not really allowing me to share or ask questions of the passenger sitting next to me. The build of this book was all me during that coast-to-coast flight. I normally get inspired in my surroundings and then post topics on LinkedIn regarding my travels and or life experiences…. but again, I was filled with emotions and the creative juices were flowing and I just had to get it out. Not too bad for someone who has never written a book before. Ok, I have books in the works, but doesn’t everyone sitting at their laptop at Starbucks have a “book in the works”? FYI, love Starbucks so if you ever see me at a Starbucks, which can be quite often, I will take a Grande Pike with light cream and three sugars. I did tell you this is my first book right? so, I truly do not know how much to share. I wrote this book to share my experience regarding Fear and Confidence and to help those suffering similar experiences. I’m going to share the insights of more than a few people. I do truly believe it’s fun to promote others while sharing the perspectives of people you know. The man pushing a rock up the hill does have some significance that I share with you in the book.
