CONNEXT is a spin-off company of Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), a Korean government research institute. CONNEXT is developing recombinant TLR5 agonist as a immune modulating biotherapeutics to treat various immune disorders. Phase I study is undergoing at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul. CONNEXT is also offering research grade highly purified tissue dissociation enzyme(TDzyme) in a smart device for tissue engineering, cell isolation and primary cell research field. TDzyme is produced in animal source free condition with low endotoxin level and exhibits comparable activity to other commercially available collagenase. Robust and simple production process supports consistent quality and productivity, which platform is already tested for other proteins in GMP condition. Based on reliable host and process, TDzyme can be supplied with competitive price to other commercial product. TDzyme is contained in a smart device enabling simultaneous dissolution and in-line sterile filtration of lyophilized enzyme, which provide ease handling and reduce any contamination risk.
