As a child Matthew was drawn to the art of capturing vivid and memorable images. He started at the age of six with a Kodak Instamatic 200 camera, and quickly mastered the way light formed the subject with ease. Through his schooling he achieved excellent marks in art and technical design, progressing into his career as an engineer, he has always been superbly technical and at the same time artistic and creative. As an adult Matthew has captured wonderful images from family memories, sporting events, weddings and conferences. Having progressed into video he has captured material for dozens of weddings, birthday parties, live music events, Elmwood School camp, the Crusaders Victory Parade 2017, project management conference 2017, Coast to Coast 2018, Christchurch Marathon, Children's Day and Christchurch City Council events. Working as a professional photographer, he will meet with you to discuss your plans, the location, time of day, weather, clothing choices (colours) and considers background settings. Put it simply he will create your living memories into a work of art. Matthew is a purpose driven perfectionist aiming to provide you with the highest quality photos possible, he has studied with high marks a Diploma in Digital Photography.
