Next Generation Consultants (NGC) is a youth, community and employee leadership development consulting and direct service apprenticeship business venture founded in 2000 to prove and promote best practices and lessons learned in the international youth and young adult civic engagement and servant leadership movements. Our intergenerational business model provides paid leadership training, opportunities and supports to diverse children, families, communities and the staff, volunteers and investors supporting them. Specific trainings, opportunities and supports vary, but the methodology and motivation are consistent: Creating pipelines for community members to assume more direct leadership, management and ownership of the for-profit businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and philanthropic institutions impacting them – and in the process developing more sustainable economic security and living more fulfilling families, lifestyles and careers.
