CLAWS UM
CLAWS (Collaborative Lab for Advancing Work in Space) is a multi-disciplinary group of undergraduate and graduate students that designs and develops innovative systems for human space exploration applications under the guidance of faculty advisors. The group is focused around human-computer interaction and strives to ensure its applications are human-centered. Past projects have included an augmented reality (AR) system to help astronauts on the ISS, and AR system to help astronauts with lunar surface exploration, and a voice assistant to help make information more accessible.
