What is TEL-LAB? TEL (Techno Entrepreneurship Leadership) Lab is the brainchild of a few like-minded researchers, led by Dr. Bhaskar Bhowmick with a zeal to promote inter-disciplinary problem-solving skills and developing an entrepreneurial mindset. TEL-LAB focuses on study and research in three major aspects of technology, Leadership, and entrepreneurship viz, 1. Technology: We aim to study how creative innovation and technology intervention can affect the development and sustainability of entrepreneurship. We also have an aim to develop a system through which we can predict the technology and models which can be used in the future in various domains. 2. Entrepreneurship qualities: Are entrepreneurs a special kind of gifted human being born with a drive and skillsets required to succeed that most of us lack, or can entrepreneurs be created through training, education, experience, and mentorship? In TEL LAB, we believe that technology developers and researchers can help in enhancing your capabilities as an entrepreneur. We are also trying to build a framework of an ecosystem best suitable for increasing the effectiveness of entrepreneurs. 3. Leadership qualities: This is another aspect of our research which we are trying to study through our work. TEL LAB is dedicatedly researching women-led enterprises. Also, focusing on building students’ capacity to think and develop entrepreneurial ideas. Helping budding entrepreneurs in the context of decision making based on limited information. At present, seven research scholars are working with Dr. Bhowmick, and two scholars have completed their Ph.D. under his supervision. Dr. Bhowmick's research area comprises a multidisciplinary work in Engineering, Management. He has expertise in the innovation ecosystem, firm environment relation, dynamic capabilities of firms, leadership, and succession strategy.
