Our frugal lifestyle has allowed us to save money while traveling to many places to experience their culture and understand their mindset. EconomiYaki is a family fund, a project where my wife and I are compounding present and future value of our time through self-managed investments with low volatility. Equally, we aspire to encourage medium and low income families to take a proactive approach to wealth creation. EconomiYaki is a word derived from the Japanese term "okonomiyaki" (a food dish), and the Greek term "oikonomia" (household management). Okonomiyaki became a very popular throughout and after WWII. In a period characterized by scarcity and frugality, people from Osaka achieved to satisfy their hunger with a tasty and customized dish prepared with leftovers. Okonomiyaki gained popularity throughout the years and is currently available everywhere in the country. We live by the values that this dish symbolizes: invent and make the best use of our available resources through measured risk-taking to overcome any adversities we may face along the journey.
