EconomiYaki Capital
"It Is Not The Years In Your Life That Count, It Is The Life In Your Years" Abraham Lincoln. We are a family that has lived around the world for more than a decade. Our frugal lifestyle has allowed us to save money while traveling to many places to experience their culture and understand their mindset. We recently realized the effect that inflation and central bank balance sheet expansion had on our savings. And we decided to roll up our sleeves and tackle the problem. EconomiYaki is a family fund, a project where my wife and I are compounding present and future value of our time through self-managed investments with low volatility. Equally, we aspire to encourage medium and low income families to take a proactive approach to wealth creation. EconomiYaki is a word derived from the Japanese term "okonomiyaki" (a food dish), and the Greek term "oikonomia" (household management). Okonomiyaki became a very popular throughout and after WWII. In a period characterized by scarcity and frugality, people from Osaka achieved to satisfy their hunger with a tasty and customized dish prepared with leftovers. Okonomiyaki gained popularity throughout the years and is currently available everywhere in the country. We live by the values that this dish symbolizes: invent and make the best use of our available resources through measured risk-taking to overcome any adversities we may face along the journey.
