NACE SC Universitas Indonesia
National Association of Corrosion Engineers Student Chapter Universitas Indonesia (NACE SCUI) was established since January 11th, 2012, and is located in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (DTMM FTUI). NACE SCUI was formed and became the first scientific and professional organization for student in the field of corrosion in Indonesia. NACE SCUI was founded on the based on a form of awareness from students about the phenomenon of corrosion, losses incurred, as well as the prevention of corrosion in various sectors. With an initial vision of "learn in togetherness", NACE SCUI seeks to provide information and services for members and the expand community regarding corrosion, training, certification, and activities held by establishing cooperation with industries, allied associations, and other parties. It is expected to be a pioneer of new technology research in the field of corrosion and its control, where students will collaborate with various parties in contributing to the corrosion and better control of the corrosion. In the future, graduates who have actively participated in this institution will be the solution to the challenges of problems in the field of corrosion and its control.
