Founded in 2011, DebSoc NSUT is the premier debating and literary society on campus for one of India's most prestigious and coveted technical institutions, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and is one of North India's most successful debating teams with several annual accolades not just in the North Indian debating circuits but beyond the borders of India as well. We excel in several forms of debating and actively foster a culture of curiosity and deliberation in our student community, something that we believe is a crucial ingredient for both academic and professional development amongst students. Areas of our expertise include: - Parliamentary Debating - Model United Nations - Conventional Debating/ Extempores - Case Studies - Group Discussions/ Hot Air Balloons/ Turncoats - Various Literary Thematic Events - Social Media and Online Events We are also India's only award winning team at the prestigious Harvard National Model United Nations conference that is held in Boston each year with a tally of a dozen awards between 2014-2019 won by 6 delegations composed of students from our campus.
