IG: @swaptilyoudropbkk Founded in 2014, Swap 'Til You Drop has been facilitating clothing swap events in Bangkok in order to provide an alternative solution to unconscious consumerism. Through organized and fun events, participants can enjoy practicing sustainability amongst friends while networking, visiting new venues around Bangkok, all while having drinks with live music. Jessica Teal, the force behind Swap 'Til You Drop, began this initiative in order to provide an accessible option for many in Thailand to find secondhand and pre-loved clothing instead of contributing to the over consumption the globe is facing today. In addition to clothing swaps, STYD also hosts various workshops and activities at schools and special events such as upcycling activities, educational sessions, and even offers decluttering and home organizing services. Due to the nature of secondhand belongings, STYD deals directly with decluttering at the forefront of their operations, both internally as they manage loads of leftovers after each event and externally, by supporting the community through their decluttering journeys. Swap 'Til You Drop consists of a team of 4 women, all from different backgrounds, who share the same vision for why swapping is essential: The World Has Enough Things!
