Around the Campfire is a socialization group for children and youth with special needs. Everyone is welcome! The focus of the group is to empower young people by helping them develop social skills and building and maintaining friendships. Each night participants have the opportunity to sing, move, dance, listen, share, play and have FUN!! The atmosphere is warm and accepting very much like the feeling you get when sitting around a campfire. Around the Campfire runs weekly from 6:00pm-7:30pm. There are 2 different locations: Central (Hintonburg Community Centre) and West (Kanata Recreation Complex). Note that there is parking for both sites.
