Families and Friends Against Deportation
Families and Friends Against Deportation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working at low and accessible rates to provide legal services to immigrants. We help clients file I-130 (petition for alien relative), I-485 (adjustment of status), I-765 (employment authorization), I-589 (asylum) applications, pardon applications, and any other paperwork related to the naturalization process. We center the families and friends that are affected by our work, because our mission goes far beyond the individual. In addition to our day-to-day operations, we are deeply enmeshed in our community, participating regularly in organizing efforts centered around workers and immigrant rights. Mission: Families and Friends Against Deportation (FFAD) envisions a world in which every immigrant has a legal, affordable path to citizenship, work authorization, and a full, meaningful life in the United States. FFAD is first and foremost committed to serving our community, through direct legal services, community organizing/coalition building, and advocacy. We work every day to ensure the security and well-being of our most vulnerable community members, as we continue to participate and build a nation-wide movement to empower people of marginalized communities.
