The Painting Workshop

• Painting reduces the reliance on cognitive closure, allowing anyone to be more flexible in his/her approach to creativity and problem-solving. The Painting Workshop's vision is to build a creative culture in professional settings, in a way that is conducive to organizational transformation and growth. •For the Information Technology and Services Industry, the workshops are specifically catered to each partner institution, and use design thinking and human-centered design principles for team building, idea generation and problem solving. •Special events are curated for non-corporate audiences. What is design thinking? Inspired by Human Centered Design, the work of IDEO and Lateral Thinking from Dr. Edward de Bono, design thinking is the intersection of creative curiosity, research, intelligence and empathy, the manifestation of which develops forward thinking brands, user experiences, services and products. It breaks through ambiguity and challenges the status quo. The objective is to encourage potential and prospective consumers to connect with an organization's unique (selling) proposition so it can differentiate itself from competition; through an empathetic vision and a brand that exemplifies expertise, quality and leadership with the aspiration of creating a long lasting affinity. Design thinking attempts to do this by taking the traditional model of 'making people want things' and instead leading with an impact driven model of 'making things people want'. This is the lens through which exemplary companies connect with their audience, consumers and users, putting humans at the center of design for sustainable business success. contact: yasmine@thepaintingwork.com Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/The-Painting-Workshop-1010170182339280/?fref=ts
