YES Tibetan Career Centre Tibetan Career Centre is a program run by YES- Youth Empowerment Support under the Dept. of Home, Central Tibetan Administration, Dharamsala. It’s a non-profit program which aims to meet the need of professionals in growing job market and to explore the skill related training avenues, and to create better employment opportunities for the existing Tibetan youth. Over the span of last one and half year, Tibetan Career centre has reached to more than 1000 Tibetan youth in India and Nepal and placed more than 500 youth in various sectors. After its landmark achievements, Central Tibetan Administration promises to gears up with more initiatives in guidance, training and employment opportunities for Tibetan youth. The Vision: To sustain Tibetan youth in general and unemployed Tibetan youth in particulars- deprived of opportunities and information – in term of relevant skill oriented training, professional career, employment and most importantly, Ethically Self Reliant. The Solution: Under administration of Central Tibetan Administration, Dharamsala, the program will be implemented by Youth Empowerment Support, with 4 major centres in North- East zone, North-West zone, North zone and South Central zone and network across all the Tibetan settlements in India. Consultants and placement officers will then work directly with Unemployed Tibetan youth to change career attitudes, create awareness about job opportunities, design career paths, build employment and training linkages, and equip youth with the skills that they need to succeed in their careers.
