North Star Junior Sailing is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to advancing the sport of sailing through our youth and adult programs. Based out of Harrison Township Michigan (Metro Detroit). Our programs range from “Learn 2 Sail” onward to our “Team North Star” racing program. The curriculum we use focuses on safe, fun, on the water instruction for ages eight through 18 in our youth programs. The adult learn to sail program is structured for anyone above the age of 18 who would like to learn how to safely and confidently handle a sailboat, and serves as a wonderful introduction to sail boat racing on Lake St. Clair.
