HM Government of Gibraltar Representation to the EU was officially inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Gibraltar on 27 May 2015. The Representation leads and directs the lobbying activities of the Gibraltar Government in Brussels and it advises and guides the Government in connection with the implementation of strategies for the promotion of Gibraltar’s interests within the European Union. The Representation is spearheaded by Sir Graham Watson who was previously a Member of the European Parliament representing the South West of England & Gibraltar for the period 1994 to 2014.
