Designs by Jewel was originally a blanket making project created to make “cut and tie” blankets for the homeless in Gainesville at GRACE Marketplace, St. Francis House, and The Honor House in conjunction with the V.A. Hospital. Through the blanket making project, inspiration flowed. From blankets, to pillowcase dresses, to quilts, to masks, Designs by Jewel aims to have an impact on the Gainesville and surrounding communities one stitch at a time.
