The Philippine Student Association (PSA) is the oldest Asian-American student group that was established at the University of Minnesota. It traces its roots from the 1940's when the first Filipino students came to the U. The group strives to build a strong community through Filipino and Filipino American-themed events and programs. Ultimately, PSA is motivated to having its members become ambassadors of Filipino culture. The Philippine Student Association benefits the University community by providing an opportunity for students, faculties, and the community to engage with the Filipino and Filipino-American culture, as well as promoting diversity and advocacy with the student body.
