The Canada Venezuela Democracy Forum (CVDF) purposes are: • Promote Democracy and Democratic Values in Venezuela within Canada and around the world. • Promote the Rule of Law, Fundamental Human Rights and Social Justice respecting Venezuelan Constitution and its laws for the purpose of good governance and fair government for Venezuelans. • Promote honest and good management at all government levels in Venezuela to eliminate political manipulation, mismanagement of national resources, corruption and social injustice. • Promote civil rights, mutual understanding, tolerance and respect across Venezuelans with respect to their political differences. • Promote International Cooperation to develop peace and security in Venezuela. • Promote protection and defense of national sovereignty and territorial Integrity of Venezuela. • Cooperate with any organization, political party, private or public entity, providing that their objectives are not incompatible with the Purposes of The Venezuelan Forum. • To work for any other objectives to the realization and promotion of The Venezuelan Forum Purposes.
