Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery is highly valued in the medical field can improve a patients' health and quality of life. However, this aspect of Medicine is barely covered in the Medical course. MAPSS aims to produce events that will enhance all students' knowledge of the cosmetic and plastic aspect of Medicine. We hope to achieve a significant understanding of the lives of doctors who supply such care to patients. We also hope to give all students the opportunity to understand more about what a career in Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery involves and the different career paths available to them. We wish to do this through running events, which include conferences, workshops and lectures where hopefully students may get the chance to be given an insight into this side of Medicine earlier to allow for CV building and experience.
