With over 100 members and still counting, Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA) is the umbrella body of all Stakeholders in the LPG sector in Nigeria. It is a Public-Private initiative established in line with the directive of the Federal Government of Nigeria as advised by the World Bank in the year 2003. The primary objective of the Association is to promote the safe use of LPG in Nigeria at affordable costs. It also aims at protecting the interests of the LPG industry and the entire Nigerian socio-economic environment at large through public policy advocacy; creation and facilitation of commercial and industrial opportunities etc. Finally, it represents the opinion of stakeholders on all matters, which impact on the LPG investment environment in Nigeria. Our mission is to demonstrate the benefits of LPG and position it as clean energy for a low carbon world, create the environment to develop and sustain LPG markets, identify and stimulate innovation, promote compliance with health, safety and environment standards and good business practices and facilitate and drive communication among all stakeholders.
