He infuses his work with life experiences, intimacy and vitality. His diverse portfolio encompasses a dynamic range of work, from personal portraits and modeling portfolios (adults, children and pets) to commercial accounts (products, advertisements, brochures and architecture). Rik established his own studio, "The Art of the Eye" Photography & Design in [2000] in Western Massachusetts, graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography class of 2003 and now continues to live and work in Boston Massachusetts. His award-winning image "Jasper: Slanted Views" is published in The International Library of Congress (ISBN 0-7951-5185-3). Richard’s subjects have included but are not limited to a Capital Records composing and pop artist, a Calvin Klein model, Cirque Du Soleil performers and Disney figure skaters.
