Foraging local LOVE! I really enjoy the concocting of jammz, and mixing flavors that create a new and spicy sensation. Tart, sweet, spicy, hot, cool, warm, cozy, tingling, summer in a jar....sunshine on a cracker I say. It is an exciting time in my life to create something that makes me happy and that I can share with others. I have been making jam for years all because I want to share something that I made with love for my friends and family. It creates the feeling of returning to a time when the things that were made by someone you knew were always better than what was available at the store. I put my intention into the product I am sharing, and my people know that when I made them a gift from the heart I put everything into it...from the care of the ingredients on the recipe, hand chopping with love, even the design on the lable showed love as well. My love for jam has definitely spread to my friends...I have excited a part in them that longs to make jam as well. Something about remembering the ways of our ancestors empowers us as well to continue on with the traditions of canning from our local yards and farms. I espeically love it when I can forage fresh fruit and veggies from friends and farms in the area. I love to Share the local LOVE! Now my son Marshall has offically started Bosquero Farm and certified organic farm in the Capay Valley. i am excited to offer many farm fresh canned items as well. The possibilites are endless.
