In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxDSC is an independent event, operating under license from TED, where TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Development. The event aims to bring together intellectual minds to give talks that are idea-focussed, and are on a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder so as to provoke conversations that matter.
