When it comes to startups and Unicorns (i.e. rapidly growing companies with a valuation of over $1 billion), Vienna and Budapest are more likely to be mentioned than Eisenstadt, Neusiedl, Güssing, Györ, Mosonmagyaróvár or Sopron. But these regions must not be ignored. There are enough creative, innovative, technically and economically savvy people in our region who have the potential to found a company and become successful worldwide. Alone, however, it is often difficult. This is why the startup communities in Burgenland, Steiermark and Györ-Moson-Sopron County have joined forces to launch a comprehensive initiative: STARTUP PANNONIA.
