The story began with Emma Watson's speech in 2014 in New York. There, the UN’s campaign began. HeforShe is a solidarity movement for gender equality and is active all around the world. Also, some French universities have decided to create student organizations to promote the campaign and try to sensibilize young people, of all gender. HeforShe Skema Lille is a student organization, at Skema Business School based in the Lille campus, officially born in January 2018. Created by a group of friends who decided that gender equality was, and is, important and that students should be aware of the campaign. We organize events linked to gender equality in order to attract all public types, but especially young people. 2017 and 2018 were great years for the promotion of gender equality. Thanks to #metoo, #balancetonporc, the Women’s March and so many other events, the topic was on everyone's lips. Let’s urge students to join the campaign and celebrate equality together !
