We are proud to present Long Island’s first Health Care Club! The purpose of this club is to keep people healthy and active in their lives. Making a strong bond with your doctor is important. We offer no-charge visits, walk-in visits, and access to a doctor around the clock for a monthly fee. Members of our club will quickly see their doctor as a luxury, not a burden. America's health system ranks one of the worst as an established country; yet pay nearly the most. Health insurance mandatory by law isn’t the solution to spending less, staying healthy is! Insurance can’t help us stay healthy; having an obtainable physician will. Too often, the patient has to work their schedule around to accommodate the doctor. Why not work together? Currently, we pay our doctor via third party. We give a large cookie to the insurance who in turn gives crumbs to the doctor(When and if you go). To our Members, PCP is a different acronym, “Personal Care Physician.” Think car insurance. Monthly you give a premium to the insurance. If you get into an accident, your car insurance will cover the value once you meet your deductible. But if you get a flat tire or you need an oil change, you reach in your pocket. Okay because it’s affordable. Ocean Family Medicine is your flat tire and oil change. If you don’t take care of your car, fine, but you’ll pay for it in the long run. Use this concept with your health. Health insurance is something everyone should have for that “what-if” scenario. Seeing your family medicine doctor is preventing a serious event from occurring in your future. We feel like it should be affordable and the patient’s responsibility; just like an oil change. Emergency rooms are crowded with sore throats, urgent cares feel obligated to track a person’s diabetes, current patients’ cannot get an appointment for weeks, and nobody is happy. Technology continues to advance; shouldn’t health care be doing the same? We plan on doing both
