At "The Speakly Initiative" we create a warm and welcoming environment for you to speak condfiently, express your thoughts freely, make new friends, learn about cultures, play games, watch movies and talk about interesting topics with amazing people just like you!! YES, YOU!! Join us and take your initiative to Speak your mind. "The Speakly Initiative" first started as an offline English Speaking in Saint Petersburg, Russia in August 2019. The first meeting had only about 4 or 5 people then it later grew to each meeting averaging about 20 people. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, meetings have shifted to an online setting onto a communications platform called "Discord", where we still host meetings in English twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays with future plans to having discussions in Russian and French. We currently have members from all over the world who love to share their thoughts and will help you shares yours. We talk about almost everything from technology to philosophy to cultures and everyday life. We always ask for our members on what topic they'd like to talk about and vote on it. We also have other activities like simplified DnD (tabletop roleplaying games), chess, among us and Skribblio to name a few. We are a constanly growing community and we will be more than happy to welcome you to be a part of it.
