The IIM Kozhikode Alumni Association (IIMKAA) is the formally registered society responsible for furthering the interests of the alumni community of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, the fifth IIM to be set up by the government of India in 1996. The IIMKAA organization structure includes an elected Executive Committee and elected City Chapter Heads across a network of 13 city chapters in India and abroad. All IIMKAA members are unpaid, voluntary positions. The IIMKAA engages alumni extensively through: - 2 mega-events - Sangam across all city chapters and Nostalgia on campus for all alumni - regular informal meets across all city chapters - initiatives related to four priority themes - diversity, entrepreneurship, leadership development and social impact The IIMKAA engages also with other key stakeholders including current students and faculty, working closely with the IIMK Alumni Chairperson (faculty member), Alumni office and students Alumni Committee. The IIMKAA works with corporate partners to increase the loyalty of our 8K+ alumni with their brands in creative ways, as well as work together on areas of shared interest.
