Nuisance are an Edinburgh-based drinks business launched out of a desire to embrace botanical flavours inspired by the British countryside in order to create delicious mixers and sodas that challenge the traditional tonics on the market. Inspired by childhood memories creating nettle cordial with his mother in the Cotswolds, founder Hugo Morrissey walked away from his City job to launch Nuisance’s Sparkling Nettle Pressé in the summer of 2020; using nettles foraged from the 6,500 acre Hopetoun House Estate near Edinburgh to create their first drinks. Nuisance turn invasive botanicals, often considered a Nuisance, into ingredients which can be championed and enjoyed through the medium of drinks. We aim to inspire consumers to take an interest in nature and the countyside and we donate 1% of our sales profits to Rewilding Britain.
