Land of the Setting Sun was born out of the need for an English language Adult book publisher in Morocco. The creator is an American expat who has lived and worked in Morocco since 2009. One decade of teaching EFL to Moroccans. Ali Anthony Bell started to write about his experience and discovered that people loved what he wrote. Not finding a publisher in Morocco he decided to create the service for other English language authors.
