Throughout the years, Brunei companies have depended heavily on foreign companies for specialized supplies and services. While the supplies provided and services rendered by these companies have undoubtedly been of good quality, their skills and knowledge have not been transferred to the local Bruneian workforce. To realize sustainable development and growth within Brunei, there is a necessity to reduce our dependence on these foreign companies and form a local workforce capable of meeting the needs of local industries.
