Originally called The Trinity Foundation, Ascension was created by a group of high-school friends looking for a way to give back to society. Throughout the years, Ascension has organized many events all centred around the same theme- poverty alleviation. In the past, Ascension has hosted charity concerts, winter clothes drives, and other community based events. Ascension's flagship event, "The Ramadan Remedy", is an annual food drive which sees 150+ volunteers each year and has distributed food to over 4000 people to date.
