A successful tutor should be four things: Experienced, Approachable, Dependable and Flexible. At Summit Tutoring we aim to meet and exceed these expectations. Our tutors are all either studying or teaching in their tutoring area and therefore have strong knowledge in the subject(s) that they are teaching. We are a very close-knit team; every tutor working for Summit Tutoring has been selected, not only based on their academic abilities, but on their personality. All of our tutors put students first, and will be as accommodating as possible for each individual. We recognise - through experience - that every student is different, and is often the reason that a tutor is required in the first instance. We have also learned, through feedback, that students often feel more comfortable working with university-aged tutors, due to feeling that they are more relatable, and therefore less intimidating to speak to. The teaching style from student to student will very rarely be the same, and the tutors are flexible and accommodating to ensure that the a suitable teaching style is found that will fit your child's needs.
