Cameralla

Established in 2010 by a group of like-minded creatives who work in comedy on stage and screen, Cameralla Comedy creates award-winning online content, short films and IP including multiple Online, Television and Feature Film concepts in various stages of development. Now officially registered (in 2018) and with a specific focus on building a YouTube content channel partnering with Google AdSense, Cameralla Comedy will focus on delivering digital content to entertain audiences everywhere, building a subscription base through Patreon to connect with those audiences. In 2010, filmmaking collective Cameralla grew out of a small group of mates who loved performing on stage together. Within a few years, they learned how to create and collaborate on content that would go on to win festivals like Flickerfest and Tropfest, and garner millions of views online. It was only in 2018 that they decided to make Cameralla a fulltime job instead of just a hobby they’re really good at, and later that same year they went on to be nominated in the AFI AACTA Awards for their web series B.C. Explained. Cameralla was also the only completely independent, unfunded company present at the awards ceremony. Cameralla have spent years learning how to create awesome, bizarre, unique and hilarious bite-sized content, and through Patreon and Facebook they have created The Chook Pen, a small, invite-only online community where they engage directly with die-hard fans and viewers, to make entertainment for tomorrow.
