CCNY Undergraduate Student Government
The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) is the official governance organization founded in 1867 to represent the students of the City College of New York (CCNY). The purpose of USG is to serve as representatives of the undergraduate students of CCNY to the faculty and administration of the college and university and persons or groups outside of the college and university whenever such representation is called for. It is also tasked with securing meaningful participation in the decision-making organs within the college, providing services, and developing policies, initiatives, activities, and events that benefit the undergraduate students of CCNY. USG consists of seven Cabinet members which include: the President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Campus Affairs, Vice President of Student Affairs, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Public Affairs, and Vice President of Finance; and 30 senators, two of which are elected by the senate as Speaker of the Senate and Secretary of the Senate.
