Paper Knight was created to provide quality, high-definition video and photo to companies and individuals all around Michigan. With extensive videography and photography experience ranging from independent films, to weddings, to corporate promos and case studies, Paper Knight Films strives to produce professional products and capture amazing and engaging images that tell meaningful stories. I started Paper Knight Films after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Video from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. The goal at the time was to provide structure to my freelance videography work and to better service my corporate and non-profit clientele. While I wanted to continue servicing clients, I also strove to work as a cinematographer on short films around Michigan. Starting out, I worked alone - producing marketing content, promos, and case studies for Haworth - allowing me to hone my skills in shooting documentaries while maintaining my passion for fiction film. Over the next few years, with my clientele and vision for the company growing, I brought on a few like-minded friends to help run the day-to-day. Today we’ve expanded into a full production company - servicing all types of clients, producing short films and music videos, and continuing to work with local artists and non-profits in the West Michigan area.
