Green Gang is an independent youth volunteer network in Faridabad city, working on the issue of waste management at a community level. This is a citizen science movement, we work on-ground through engaging local communities in residential cleanup, waste collection drives and capacity building workshops. We also work in education and advocacy; educate children and youth on the correlation between waste and climate change through visual interactive aids and advocate for mainstreaming waste or landfill based emissions in the local climate debates to highlight the importance of home waste segregation and strengthening the SWM policies.
