Mentorship Initiative for Indigenous & Planners of Colour (MIIPOC)
The Mentoring Initiative for Indigenous & Planners of Colour seeks to eliminate/lessen barriers faced by Indigenous and people of colour in the field of planning. We aim to improve equal participation, expand networks/access, and influence change. We hope to help achieve a future where the positions that are crucial in facilitating the developments in our city's communities, will be better represented by Indigenous & people of colour (IPOCs) who possess the lived experiences that aid in appropriately planning for the lives of ALL our city's inhabitants.
