Bring A Change Foundation (BACF) is a Delhi-based registered nonprofit organization that strives to meet the educational, environmental, and cultural needs of deprived Indian youths, women and children. BACF attempts to empower youth and women to think critically, creatively and collaboratively about domestic and global challenges through continuous knowledge sharing and service learning. Vision Statement Our vision is to shape an Indian society where no child is illiterate, where there is no gender imbalance, where citizens reside with respect for fellow citizens and their surroundings. Mission Statement For India to have a well-informed and empowered population participating in a strong and vibrant civil society contributing to the benefit of poor and vulnerable people, to enable citizens of our country to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life. BACF aims to create ways and means to embrace deprived women into the mainstream in a manner that aids them to emerge as productive assets and set the foundation for nation building. Also, we seek to establish a society where no one is left illiterate, unemployed and exploited. Bring A Change Foundation’s Approach BACF recognizes that action, in addition to knowledge, is required to address persisting developmental and social problems. BACF works to promote and empower “youth and women” to take action on an individual level to work for change. Our hope is to provide this opportunity to many young people, who, as a result, develop an active, life-long commitment towards making a productive society. We hope that the BACF’s Knowledge sharing experience leads “youth and women” to increase awareness, empowerment and problem-solving skills.
