The Poppy & Parliament is an upscale English Pub located on the historic downtown square in the vibrant, up-and-coming city of Huntsville, Alabama. The pub was established in May of 2019 and owners Shane Brown and Chef Barry O' Conner took over in February of 2020 and plan to expand by opening a kitchen by the end of the year . The facility boasts ample indoor seating as well as a beautiful patio space. The Poppy and Parliament is also home to a traditional gourmet store as well as a butcher shoppe. Our Executive Head Chef, Kristen Caroselli leads our staff and is always looking to add additional talents to our kitchen and front of house as business grows. Our menus will focus primarily on upscale English and Irish fare, but also consist of a selection of perfectly grilled steaks, fruits of the ocean, house-cured charcuterie, and beautiful warm salads. We will have rotating blackboard specials nightly which consist of hand-carved steaks, fresh seafood, and delicate desserts. We are eager to include local and seasonal ingredients on our menu and constantly looking to better ourselves to please the public in every way possible. We specialize in imported draft beers, cask beer, craft cocktails, and an adventurous wine list. Our pub, with its authentic décor and warm inviting ambiance will make you feel like you are across the pond.
