Because I am a Girl at Wilfrid Laurier University is a student-run organization under Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl campaign. We aim to continuously raise awareness for girl's rights, advocate equal access to education and healthcare, along with having the opportunity to participate in society. Through promoting Plan Canada's campaign, BIAAG WLU aims to raise awareness among fellow students and faculty to participate in a variety of social programs, activities and fundraisers.
