Students Of Color Environmental Collective
The Students of Color Environmental Collective (SCEC) at University of California, Berkeley functions as an organizing, learning, collaborative, and healing community space for its members as the only environmental group on campus actively working at the intersections of race, identity, class and the environment. SCEC is a horizontally organized student group for students of color that started as an idea in May 2015 to center marginalized voices in environmental and social justice movements and to dismantle systems of oppression and environmental racism. We are a horizontal space that does not have a president/leader.
