Michael Foldvari (1995-2017) passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2017. Michael was an extraordinary individual with broad knowledge of real and virtual societies, and passion for music, musicology, poetry and arts. He was the most gentle and understanding soul, had a sense of humor characteristic to him only and always aimed to convey profound ideas about the world. He enjoyed challenging and perplexing people with new ideas and bringing to the forefront obscure and unexpected things most people might not notice. The Michael Foldvari Foundation is dedicated to the memory and legacy of Michael Foldvari and supports mental health initiatives and mental health research, including studying the healing power of music.
